Jeunes en action

This project is designed for young Laurentians, aged 18 to 24, who want to return to school or find a suitable job. It is meant to have them be more prepared and better tooled to carry on their endeavors.

During the project, you will receive a weekly $30 participation benefit from Emploi-Québec.

Here is what is offered:
  • Small group workshops on various themes, such as knowledge of one’s self, managing stress and budgets, employment research, academic and professional exploration, as well as interpersonal relations.
  • Individual counseling with a qualified person who listens, hands advice and accompanies you in your progression towards a return to school or employment.
  • Workshops on collective cooking.
  • Tours of various organizations, schools or professional training schools.
  • An opportunity to get involved in the community.
  • In addition to the continuous support, we also provide a personalized follow-up once the participant has succeeded in returning to school or integrating a job.
