Jeunes en action

This project is destined for young Laurentians, age 18 to 24, who want to return to school or find a job. It gives them the opportunity to improve their preparation and tools in order to carry on their endeavors.

During the project, your participation will earn you a weekly $30 benefit from Emploi-Québec.

Here is what is offered:

• Small group workshops on various themes, such as self-knowledge , stress and budget management, job hunting, academic and professional exploration, as well as interpersonal relationships.
• Individual counseling with an intervenor who listens, hands out advice and assists you on your way back to school or employment.
• Workshops on collective cooking.
• Tours of various organizations, schools or professional training schools.
• An opportunity to get involved in the community.
• In addition to the continuous support, we also provide a personalized follow-up once the participant has succeeded in returning to school or integrating a job.
